"THE ALMOST COMEDY HOUR" - VARIOUS ARTISTS CBS RADIO / RADIO RADIO TACH - 18L - (2 R ALBUM) - The group performs their sketch "Nick Danger Meets E.T.", for this pilot show featuring other comics and writers hosted by Father Guido Sarducci with Milton Berle, "The Joke Squad", Frankin and Davis, Bob and Doug McKenzie (Dave Thomas, Rick Moranis), and Don Novello, that was broadcast and distributed on Album by CBS Radio

(INTERACTIVE VIDEO GAMES) (VGP) - The trio worked with Mattel's Intellivision wing in the development of interactive video games.

summer 1983
"THE YOLKS OF OXNARD" (VDP) - The group of three was hired by VHD productions of Japan to film an interactive video disc to be played on machines then only available in Japan where the viewer would make choices in the plot's direction. Filming on 16mm was begun on the $300,000 production at Pacific Arts' Monterey soundstage. Mike Nesmith as executive producer with Kevin McCormick and Nancy Mosher also producing, with Bill Dear directing. VHD Productions pulled out and the participants pooled their resources to salvage the project.  A Nick Danger subplot was written in and filmed melding the interactive parts together becoming "The Case Of The Broken Yolkes". Several fake commercials were also added with food stylings by Oona Austin and the name then changed to "The Case Of the Missing Yolks". Special effects were applied when the film was transferred to video tape by Jim Haygood, and Dan Belmour of One Pass Video.

Or Is It Ghandi", fake call ins and different mixes or takes of parody commercials of "Boobie Chew", and "Rat In The Box" from the "Yolks" video, and real ads for Budweiser and Toyota, that was broadcast and distributed by the Global Satellite Network.

"FIRESIGN THEATRE'S HOT SHORTS" (VD) (VT) (M) - The trio's overdubbed reconstructed send up  of Republic Studio serials, put together as a series of shorts, and packaged in some theaters in the US with the Ray Davies (of The Kinks) film, "Return To Waterloo".  Originally released for the home market on RCA CED laser needle video discs, it was soon available on tape from Columbia Tri Star Home Video, 60435. B&W, 73 min.
